GCSE CHEMISTRY
IGCSE Chemistry is a traditional Chemistry course: EDEXCEL IGCSE Chemistry is examined by two end of course examinations; Paper 1 being 2 hours long and Paper 2 being 1 hour long. The requirements for Paper 1 include all content listed in the Specification in non bold type: requirements for Paper 2 include all topics in the specification. Topics in bold type are tested in Paper 2 only. There is no practical examination; although experimental application is tested in the questioning throughout Paper 1 and Paper 2.
When studying for IGCSE Chemistry all students need a good understanding of Chemical Language, a detailed list of what they need to know; The Specification; a good set of notes and access to as many Past Examination Papers with Mark Schemes as is possible.
